America is a song sung by millions of unheard voices. This September at Space 55 we present an evening where some of those voices will be heard. “American Herstory” is an evening of performances written and performed entirely by women. Female storytellers, performance artists, poets, comedians, zine writers, musicians, and playwrights will come together to tell their side of history, the one that doesn’t get inked in history books or zoomed in on Ken Burns documentaries.
